How It Works

Our Program Directors (our local connection) and their team of volunteers work to support children in their communities by prioritizing those with the greatest needs. Our program is not based on individual sponsorship in order to give the Program Directors the flexibility to help as many children as they can with the resources provided.

Eligible children are school aged between the ages of 2-17. Program Directors provide monthly communications and are subject to an annual review and (onsite) audit process to ensure accountability, integrity, and effectiveness.

Children are the future leaders of tomorrow, so we believe it’s worth investing in their lives so that they can dream of a better future for their families, cities and nations. We do this by meeting their basic needs each month through our child sponsorship program.

Our heart is not only to meet basic needs but to allow these children to dream and empower them to accomplish those dreams. Many children in these impoverished communities are not aware of how to dream, let alone how to accomplish these dreams. Children rarely know what opportunities are actually available. The future they see most often is limited to what they see in their community such as a farmer, a teacher or a doctor. The lack of opportunity creates a lack of awareness. We want to let them know what is available to them and create these opportunities for them in their communities.

By reaching these children, we believe we can impact society from the smallest level. From there, we can inspire others and train up the generations to come to be reformers.
